Welcome to RI Transfers, a Web site designed to provide information and helpful links to make the process of transferring among CCRI, RIC, and URI easier.

Did you know that 45% of all college students who began their academic study in 1989 attended more than one college or university? Approximately 1,000 students transfer among CCRI, RIC, and URI each year. The Rhode Island Office of Higher Education has developed the RI Transfers Web page to be a one-stop source of information on transferring among CCRI, RIC, and URI. This Web site doesn't replace spending time visiting the Web site of and getting information directly from the college or university you want to attend. Think of the RI Transfers Web site as a first stop toward transferring by helping you to begin the process of gathering information. The next step is to use the Transfer Guide for Students, an annual listing of every course that transfers and the equivalent courses at CCRI, RIC, and URI. By thinking about transfer early, using the Transfer Guide for Students, consulting an advisor, speaking with representatives of the college or university to which you intend to transfer, and using the information on this site, you can make transferring within the Rhode Island public higher education system work for you.

Go to News and Events for a list of transfer fairs.
